On October 25th, St. Lenox will release the new LP “Ten Modern American Work Songs” via Don Giovanni and Anyway Records!
About the album, St Lenox’s mastermind Andrew Choi has this to say: “I think I’d like this record to be viewed as a portrait of young Gen-X / old Millenial work life. It contains stories from my days as an underpaid graduate student through my time in law school and beyond, and the struggles and joys associated with that. I think now more than ever the modern economy forces people to make tradeoffs – even education was turned from an investment into a tradeoff – and I had to adjust my outlook as a result. Of course I managed to come out the other end, but the ride was bumpier and riskier than initially advertised. So this record is about that. Dedicated to the NYU Law Class of 2014 10-Year Reunion in lieu of a financial donation. ”
