Over the past year, one excellent band after another has taken root and sprouted in Columbus, and perhaps one of the finest is WV White. The band caught our eye when they opened for The Kyle Sowashes, and they have since melded into a sonic juggernaut, albeit one with copious amounts of cough syrup and PBR. Sounding somewhat like a tripped-out Nikki Sudden and the Jacobites via “Morrison Hotel,” the band is astounding live. They are finishing up their debut album to be released on Anyway in 2014.
